  1. I would have to side with the republicans: President Biden's stimulus plan has had the unintended consequence of artificially keeping unemployment high. Why should someone apply for a low-paying retail job when they are getting paid more NOT to work? This will ultimately create wage inflation, which in turn will create general inflation as prices go up for everyone.
