  1. The U.S. is a contradiction in many ways. We're so advanced in science and technology. We have the best universities as well. Yet we also are the only country that still accepts creationism, for example, as a valid science. And we have a leader who wants to take us back to the early-1800's, when science was poorly understood and still not widely accepted.
