  1. "Theft" is a manufactured crime. When someone shoplifts from a big retailer it is a "bad" crime and the police talk very seriously. But when the employer steal the wages of employees its a ministry of labour problem. Try getting the police to give a sh!t if your boss steals your wages. How about mentioning that the value of wage theft (i.e. the various ways employers steal wages from employees) amounts to more than the value of all other forms of theft, burglary, shoplifting, and auto theft COMBINED.
