  1. They're not talking about methamphetamines, they're talking about crank!! Just like opiates, there's legitimate pharmaceutical reasons for these drugs but when people start making it in their kitchens is where it goes bad. Decriminalize drugs and take all the money they're spending on arresting and re-arresting people we should have good rehabs, not just 100 beds in a room. Personally I think it's poison but an adult can take responsibility for their actions.

  2. Yes but the psychotic behavior now against pain meds for actual medical reasons??!! That's what terrifies me! I'm reading that people actively dying in pain aren't getting pain meds??!!! What is wrong with this country!

  3. I'm seeing my sister and nephew go through that almost exact same thing. He is a college graduate and homeowner but he is losing everything. He has done everything is on soboxone but drinks and does meth which is causing psychosis. So they babysit him for days until he's ok then he does it again and again! He refuses rehab or counseling and they're at the end of helping so they say. I feel for you and I do understand your frustration and wanting to "give it to god" which is absolutely your choice and I agree although I may say "give it to the universe". Please don't take it all on and whatever happens you did your best.

  4. I wanted a lot of kids but I knew financially there was no way, even with two incomes. I had 3 and thank goodness I didn't have more because I became a single parent and worked 2-3 jobs barely making it, still getting electricity turned off etc. I was blessed later on with help and now I'm stable but have less than $200 in the bank in my 50s. What's going to happen when these people are in their 70s? Social Security is a joke. We need to stop the overpopulation and waste. Maybe because of climate change we won't have to worry about it anyway.

  5. I'm a chronic pain patient who has had spinal surgery with issues. I was very very active all my life until mid 30s. I learned to have to let go of the idea I will be able to ski, jump off cliffs etc and live.the best I can with the help of pain meds (thank God). I think having end stage terminal illness would be similar, I would ask myself if I will get better or stay how I am? Then make a decision. I do know I would rather die than burden my children or send them into financial ruin. I am not at all religious but do believe in spirit and the Universe being more than we understand (agnostic).

  6. I understand completely. My father was my best friend, he died when I was 9 and I've never really recovered. But a lot had to do with our dysfunctional family after his death.

  8. Typical DEA, 90% of people legally and legitimately taking a drug are the ones that suffer and the addicts are the ones focused on. Same with what they've doing to chronic pain patients and opiates! People whose lives are changed, who take their medication are the ones who suffer!!!
