  1. Yes welcome to American health care, you're in a horrible life changing event and then saddled with a bill which ruins your credit and ability to buy a house, car or anything else where you need a loan. Amazing for him, and that's what separates some of us, always stay calm and keep your wits!

  3. It would be interesting to know how many were like that, verses normal behavior. Since prisoners are treated so differently between countries I really wonder what the percentages of bad vs good behavior in different countries. My observations from just watching prison shows on YT it seems like prisoners are overall better behaved when they're treated better. Of course there's exceptions and this is totally based on my limited exposure but still it would be a goid study for someone.

  4. This is what rehabilitation and redemption looks like. Absolutely without religion but with real human experiences and emotions. Thankfully the victims parents were open to communicate because that was so difficult I'm sure but the outcome was truly awesome. He seems like he's become a good man.

  5. Talk about never learning from past mistakes, criminalizing drugs DOES NOT make it go away, or help anyone! Read about Portugals decriminalization and how much better off they are since doing it.

  6. Violent crimes against women, children, the elderly, disabled and animals are a much lower priority than nonviolent drug offenders and peaceful protesters! We are changing because we are collectively getting involved and people like this guy!

  7. Yup and a lot end up homeless because creditors take everything they own and garnish their pay.
