There's a clear difference between this (someone intentionally harming an animal) and agriculture. But I wouldn't mind if those bad actors in big ag business got thrown in prison for their disgusting treatment. Everyone that eats meat need to know where their meat is coming from and then decide if you want local ethically raised and humanely killed food or factory farmed tortured and horrifically butchered food?

  6. What she did was beyond horrendous and nothing could cause or excuse it but Travis did sound like a two faced person. I don't think he knew much about his own emotions and just wanted to look like he was good person. So many times when someone is murdered they become Saints? But like I said NOTHING makes her inexcusable murderous actions ok! This happens to both men and women unfortunately.

Also most extremely driven people are sociopaths but they're not violent but they have no empathy so it's easy for them to climb the corporate ladder. We all have the ability to be violent and some are prone to it but it always comes down to a choice which is an ability we are all born with.

  19. Agreed, those cops were unprofessional and it would've been interesting to see if there were more professional cops doing it. I do agree with the court on this she definitely was insane. I'm glad she's gotten help and most likely will need supervision for the rest of her life.

  25. Ok I know I'm assuming here but they've got money right, I mean boarding school is not cheap. I'd take that kid to the slums of Africa or Mexico and make him work! Stay with a local family in an area with real life hard days and hard people. Make him work building schools or roads something. Seems so many of these kids have no idea about anything but their own crap.

  33. I thought about what I'd do in your place and I would watch everything and read all comments. What if someone knew something and posted something? The weird part is not finding anything! Even with large animal predation there's something and there's no large animals there except coyotes and there'd be clothes, bones etc. I do really hope you find answers.

  38. If your kid is this bad and continually runs away then let them go. I know it sounds crazy but if theyre physically attacking you then nope! Inform law enforcement and that's it. Or tell them if they gets job they can rent a room from you and leave them be. If they make mistakes then they need consequences that they need to deal with. I don't understand this need to corral them at that age. They want to be independent then fine, pay your way and be an independent person.

  39. This is important, just because you've been diagnosed with a personality disorder, even sociopathy or psychopathy doesn't mean you'll be violent. Everyone has feeling, people diagnosed with any if these still feel anger, happiness etc they just choose to minimize their feelings and usually like power and control. It's the narcissism with violent tendencies that makes some kill. These are totally just my opinions and could totally be wrong but none of these sickos are robots and they show feelings so they seem to just choose to be the way they are instead of trying to be a better person.

It's not drugs, or mental illness or bad (not in his case) childhoods that make someone a murderer, if it did we'd all be goners. Certain people just seem weak and unable to handle emotional pain so they murder to make themselves feel better by making others hurt. Idk I'm no expert and I comment just my opinions but it's good to read others opinions too because it's mind blowing this happens!!? Those poor people.

  43. My youngest daughter started babysitting at 11 and once she was babysitting a 4 and 6 year old when she found the 6 year-old with a loaded handgun waving it around. Apparently the boyfriend of the Mom left his gun under the pillow and the kid found it. My daughter called me a immediately, she had taken the gun away and I came right over there and took the gun. Then I called the lady and bitched her out for keeping a loaded gun within reach of little kids! I was very proud of my daughter that day.

  45. I cannot stress this enough, DON'T SPOIL YOUR KIDS! Teach them manners, independence and compassion at a YOUNG age, show them lots of love by doing things together not buying crap! By the time they're in the teenage years it's too late and they'll have to have some hard lessons or just be like this guy. How old is she? My 10 year old granddaughter is about as mature if not more mature than she is?! I get she is totally innocent in this but still, it's weird. Not surprised they chose each other, she's probably easily manipulated by him. I will never understand murder, killing to protect I get, murder I don't. So sad for the family.

  46. This is unreal! Kids used to get pissed off and party or do donuts on the school lawn! Shooting people?! They are looking back at their teenage angst now and thinking "that was the stupidest decision in the history of stupid decisions". Because now they've got the rest of their lives to understand they were not mistreated and had it pretty f*cking good. I know it's cliche but don't make a permanent solution to a temporary problem! And when I say "kids" I don't mean "children"! I'm a grandma so to me they're kids but I know they're young adults before anyone freaks out.

The odd thing is his body hasn't been found because that means he's been moved in a vehicle and that takes it to another level.   49. Yup! I just got a letter from the cops to cut my overgrown weeds or else and it's only been 2 weeks! But they don't have the funding for the kids? Seriously wrong! And people being forced to have kids who will end up in this same situation or worse. Not logical.

  50. Until child care workers are paid a decent wage this will happen. You get the least comparable and adequate people when they're making minimum wage. Thankfully most day care workers are wonderful people but they are still woefully under paid!!!
