  1. My youngest daughter started babysitting at 11 and once she was babysitting a 4 and 6 year old when she found the 6 year-old with a loaded handgun waving it around. Apparently the boyfriend of the Mom left his gun under the pillow and the kid found it. My daughter called me a immediately, she had taken the gun away and I came right over there and took the gun. Then I called the lady and bitched her out for keeping a loaded gun within reach of little kids! I was very proud of my daughter that day.

  2. Until child care workers are paid a decent wage this will happen. You get the least comparable and adequate people when they're making minimum wage. Thankfully most day care workers are wonderful people but they are still woefully under paid!!!
