It seems that they need to figure out if it's a chemical imbalance problem, i.e. something that can be helped by prescriptions, or just a kid that's being bullied or is bored etc. It is also IMPERATIVE to listen to them when they say a certain medicine is not working. It would be great if they could first try more natural meds like CBD, St. John's wort, valerian, and see before going straight to the heavier stuff. Ketamine has been found to be a miracle drug for severe depression although they don't really know why and I'm not big on giving out drugs but they do help a lot of people, it's just figuring out who will truly benefit. Until we change as a society and place more importance on compassion, tolerance, love, art and helping others instead of greed, hate, accumulation and being top dog, these awful crimes (school shootings, gang violence) and lost people will just multiply. Things will get a lot worse in the future if we don't change our ways no matter how many cops, or psychiatrists are thrown at people.
