You're not alone! My oldest daughter was in the er for hours had a bunch of unnecessary tests and was writhing in pain and they said they were sending her home??!! First I had to demand pain meds and demand an answer. Then I said what about appendicitis and I kid you not the nurse said "well why didn't you say that before"!!! Sure enough they did the scan and immediately took her into surgery! Unfortunately we're in America without health insurance and at 18 she had a $15,000 hospital bill! We absolutely have to advocate for ourselves!! Hope you're doing good!!
