An adult should have the right no matter what, psychological illnesses are no different in terms of suffering. Instead of making it yes or no maybe have support for people or a period of time with trying different medications. I had to laugh at the guy saying "doctors only help" when they're cutting people off of their years long stable pain medications because the government is playing doctor and they did that in weeks!! The daughter wanted to be consulted but it's not her decision either. I pray no one has to make this decision but if they do they should be able to choose.
