There were just so many things about this case that were weird. Notebook paper, pen, knife all from the house plus exact amount of John's bonus for ransom etc. Also if my child was missing (note or not) I would search the entire house and yard immediately!? Plus the whole creepy beauty pageant crap. That poor baby girl. I just hope no other innocent child was hurt by whomever did this since the cops bungled it.
