  2. The medical community needs a "undiagnosed" diagnosis. They need to acknowledge there's a medical problem and provide the correct support regardless whether there's a name. Doctors do not know everything and need to be able to allow people access to the proper care and support! Amazing family, I hope they get some answers.

  5. Thanks, I took ASL in college and worked with a lot of deaf people so I just figured she was deaf or partially deaf. In no way does she come off as slow, heartbroken yes, I hope she can find some peace now.

  7. If we decriminalized all plants including opium and cocoa the drug war would be over, overdoses would dramatically fall and peoples quality of life would get so much better. Look what Portugal did and how crime and disease fell by a lot!!

  11. We are losing the battle of gangs because people will never stop using drugs so we need to change our drug policies. Decriminalizing drugs and regulating them takes the power out of the gangs hands. Legalizing all plants will also stop most people buying drugs from gangs. We have to do something because at the time our current system is doing more harm than good. Stop the violence.

We're taught what we are supposed to think is important, instead of finding out for ourselves what makes each one of us happy. And there's nothing wrong with having to take medication, but each person is different.

  30. In America EVERYONE arrested will spend at least one night in jail, parking tickets, all nonviolent offenders etc. We are bursting at the seems. We aren't changing the system, and to make room violent repeat offenders are let out! An easy solution that will help 100% is to decriminalize ALL plants! Let people chew Cocoa leaves or drink poppy tea! Also we have learned that sexual predators can't be rehabilitated, whether they attack women, children or men so mandatory life without, period!

  34. Canada? Lived in LA, and Chicago now there were some mean streets. Also lived in Seattle, and other cities and as long as you weren't an idiot you could go pretty much anywhere. Of course this was 30 years ago so things may have changed. NY is the only city in America I haven't lived. I've been to all the Provinces in Canada but only to visit, never ever felt like they were scary. Love the Canadians. In other countries and in Canada (Vancouver) they give these people their drugs by prescription, totally legal and they get their lives together. Not only do most stop prostitution the dealers go away as does a lot of other crimes like petty theft. If an adult wants to consume drugs other than the legal (but much more destructive alcohol) let them! If we decriminalized all plants crime would drop 80%!! I will never understand how they can make plants illegal!!

  36. It must be so incredibly frustrating for the scientists who know what gene causes this and if we just know how to switch it on or off (whatever is necessary) they would all be cured! We are literally on the very edge of being able to cure so many genetically caused diseases. We just need to stop having more than 2 or 3 kids per family because overpopulation is already a huge problem if we can cure diseases as well then??? I hope all the kids suffering get help.

It says something that happens in a movie but doesn't actually say what that is so unless you know what happened in the movie you wouldn't know. I think he needed to specify exactly what the implication is. And although I know his knowledge is with disabilities but this happens to so many! Poor people, homeless, ethnicity etc so it's more than discrimination it is violent predators! Because these same people would just as quickly beat up a minority or other fringe person interchangeably. Others need to stand up to those idiots, call them out and let them know what they're saying/doing is not cute or funny but instead cowardly and intolerable.

I just don't understand how people can go to these foreign countries and drink themselves stupid and expect everything to be ok! This was a horrible thing and I really hope they've got the right killers. This happens everywhere though. Please watch yourself in any situation, especially a foreign country!

  45. You're absolutely right!! No one forces people to do drugs and what about liquor stores, should people selling liquor be considered murderers??? Alcohol kills WAY more people! We need good rehabs not jail over and over! Obviously the trillions we've spent on the failed drug war could've gone for better things. Look up what Portugal did with their drug laws and they've WORKED!
