  1. @Noah Jordan - where is the cutoff? Why should older people have to die unnecessarily? People over 60 are not able to get respirators in Italy & Spain because their hospitals are being overwhelmed. Callousness in the UK & US is going to ensure a repetition of those scenarios. F**k the economy. Thinking like yours is sociopathic.

  3.  @edenassos  - except that in most of those countries the chances of making such a windfall is minuscule. The US has a robust entrepreneurial environment, a strong consumer base, & access to capital markets & venture capital. That is why companies like Google, Facebook, etc. became behemoths & can afford to pay top dollar for acquisitions. Those factors don't exist in most of the countries with no capital gains tax. So in balance, I'd rather settle for half of a large pie than all of a little pie.
