What about the rights of those neighbors that seek security from a proven belligerent threat? And why is ruzzia concerned about a defensive alliance when ruzzia is a nuclear-armed power with more nukes than the entire western arsenal combined? -- a fact that they remind us about almost daily. There was no "coup", you kremlin propaganda muppet. It was demonstrations by the Ukrainians. It began with protests against the pro-kremlin president. He used force on the protesters & it snowballed into a revolution. The only coup was the fake "separatist movement" orchestrated by Putin in the Donbas after his sock puppet Yanukovich ran back to Moscow to hide behind his puppet master's skirts. The "14,000 slaughtered" is also Kremlin disinformation. The TOTAL numbers killed on BOTH SIDES from 2014 to Dec 2021 is 14,000: this includes 6500 pro-Russian separtist forces, 4400 Ukrainian forces, & 3404 civilians.
