But when they do stuff like this it leaves them open to claims of staging scenes. Both sides are engaged in propaganda. The Russians are worse, of course.

  22. Scott Ritter is a Russian stooge. I did not know of his criminal record, until now. Interestingly, he was in debt after his conviction. And no media outlets wanted him as an "expert" commentator. Then the Russians scooped him up. More in the NY Times article "Scott Ritter’s Other War"

Why are no media-affiliated journalists allowed similar access? Why is his material constantly showing up on Russian State TV propaganda? Why does his material show only a pro-Russian perspective if he's truly "independent"? How do we know who funds him & that it is not affecting his reporting? Why does he use leading questions & even prompt answers to get a narrative when he is interviewing civilians? Why are his "frontline" videos staged to be dramatic like he is in harms way when it is very often clear that he is not? Ask yourself these questions as you watch his coverage.
