@XShadowAngel - wishful thinking there, dude. And it's that attitude that saw us bogged down for 2 decades fighting an unwinnable war. You can't win when the overwhelming majority of the population want a lifestyle & culture that is diametrically opposed to yours. The proof is right in front of your eyes. After 2 decades, apart from Kabul & maybe a couple of other cities, Afghanistan is in the same state it was in at the beginning of the conflict.

@XShadowAngel - "wanting to win decisively" doesn't mean jacksh*t. You don't think McChrystal & his special forces wanted to win decisively? Of course they did. But unless you intend to occupy every city, town, & village, & administer the country yourself for the next 5 decades, the outcome will always be the same.
