@msp5138 why do they need the west "to be free"? They chose this path. It's their free choice to go down this road.

@KarlSnarks "Western imperialism" is a figment of your imagination. Those other governments have a choice to make. It's no different than what China does when it flexes its economic & financial muscles with smaller countries. If you want to see imperialism at work, take a look at Russia.

@KarlSnarks newsflash: countries have always sought to further their interests. Nothing new or novel about it. All countries do this to some extent or another.
