  15. As far as I remember from when I applied for my permanent residence & citizenship, your application could be denied if you have violated your visa status at any point. Working without authorization on a student visa is a violation. And if you lied about it & manage to becone a citizen, it could lead to the citizenship being canceled if the deception is uncovered.
