  5. Musk is a child in a grownup's body. His billions literally allow him to turn his comic-book fantasies into reality. Sometimes they succeed -- Tesla & SpaceX -- sometimes they implode -- Boring Co. But he's now pushing the limits of reality even with the ones that succeeded. Hence you have Cybertruck, robotaxi, Optimus, etc with Tesla. And outlandish Mars colonies with SpaceX.
