They still have a 19th century imperialist mindset.

Sebastian Baez simple answer: putin Pootin started the civil war after his puppet Yanukovich was sent packing. "In August 2014, unmarked Russian military vehicles crossed the border into the Donetsk republic. An undeclared war began between Ukrainian forces on one side, and separatists intermingled with Russian troops on the other, although Russia attempted to hide its involvement."

Sebastian Baez it started in April 2014 when putin started agitating. In August he sent his forces in. Nothing inaccurate about my post. The people of Donbas were a minority & as such have no right to fight a separatist war. If they chose to take up arms, they became rebels. A rebellion is treason. How did putin deal with Chechnya when they wanted to separate? We all hear Kremlin propagandists talk about the US support for Maidan. But curiously, we never hear about the ruzzian puppeteering that PRECEEDED the Maidan. Yanukovich was elected with a mandate to join the EU. His corruption from putin made him go against the will of the majority.

But of course they had to invade. The nuclear-armed motherland was in mortal danger of being invaded by a non-nuclear neighbor that was incapable of resolving its own 8 year civil war. That's ruzzian logic for you.

I gotta hand it to pootin. His greatest accomplishment was surpassing Goebbels's level of brainwashing. The population is so deep in their delusion, nothing short of a dismantling of their empire will bring about an awakening to reality.

@andrewmaksymchuck2997 yes that is correct. But the point I'm making is that Ukraine was incapable of defeating those rebels, yet we are told that the same country is somehow a threat to a nuclear-armed country.

@Anticommunism99 both are equally 💩

Sebastian Baez 1. My comments have multiple "likes", none of which are mine. So don't act like a child. 2. Chechnya is the EXACT same thing -- a breakaway. In fact it's worse because no one supported them, therefore it was entirely their attempt at self-determination -- unlike the fake Kremlin-fighters-without-insignia "separatists" in the Donbas. Interesting that you call it whataboutism because it's usually the favorite tactic of Kremlin propagandists to use whataboutisms. Evidently they don't favor it when it's applied to them & bites them in the a$$. 3. Sovereign nations have full rights to economic & defensive military alliances. Putin doesn't get a veto on their decisions. Simple international law. You should try reading something other than Kremlin propaganda talking points. 4. Ukraine was REFUSED entry into NATO in 2008. Germany & France blocked their application. And since 2014, per NATO rules, they are INELIGIBLE to join due to having unresolved territorial disputes. 4. NATO is not a threat to Russia even though they make that flimsy argument to cover for their attempts at re-colonization. Firstly, they are a nuclear power. Second, they already share borders with NATO countries. Third, pootin has shrugged off Sweden's & Finland's applications to join. 5. Ruzzian troops have been consistently in the Donbas since 2014. They, like you, are liars & deny it. But denying reality only serves to brainwash yourself.

@florrie8767 the Duran is a Kremlin shill channel. Look up the background of co-founder Alexander Mercouris. He's a convicted fraudster. Look up the background of frequent guest Scott Ritter. He's a convicted sex offender. 🤦♂️
