  10. As a manager of a small business, I've hired people with non-violent records, thinking that they deserved a 2nd chance. I've been f*cked over by them. Every. Single. Time. The lying, the drug abuse, the lack of personal responsibility, the lack of morals, the poor work ethic, the sense of entitlement -- absolutely out of control.   35. I find the police in the US are total a-holes. If they bust you for a minor infraction, they never let you off with a warning. I'm a careful driver & never speed, but over the years I've gotten tickets for silly sh*t like 36 mph in a 30 mph zone, not making a complete stop at a stop sign (rolling stop) in a zone with zero traffic, etc. The best decision I ever made was to leave the police state behind & move overseas.
