  2. I find the police in the US are total a-holes. If they bust you for a minor infraction, they never let you off with a warning. I'm a careful driver & never speed, but over the years I've gotten tickets for silly sh*t like 36 mph in a 30 mph zone, not making a complete stop at a stop sign (rolling stop) in a zone with zero traffic, etc. The best decision I ever made was to leave the police state behind & move overseas.
