  2.  @MrMatt531  fascists don't "call" for fascism. They create conditions that allow it to creep in. They create distrust in all institutions -- media, law enforcement, the opposition, current & past leadership, elections, judges -- ring any bells? Once a general distrust is created, their party or leader comes in as a savior. Yale professor Timothy Snyder has written extensively on the subject.
