Russia is led by a dictator, there is no free press, no freedom of expression, no freedom of assembly, no unfiltered access to the internet, & the population is brainwashed by state propaganda. They have invaded their sovereign neighbors & annexed territory on the pretext of "protecting ethnic Russians" -- echoes of Hitler's annexation of the Sudetenland.
