Mr. Bald, would you accept donations on his behalf? Instead of giving him money or moving him, he could be given some warm clothing, bedding, furniture, wood-burning stove & a prepaid line of credit at his food store. That would help reduce his hardship. Money could also be paid to someone to do repairs on his house, and someone to check on him weekly. If possible, you could do a couple of follow-up videos when you present him these items. I know your viewers would like to see they've made a difference. What do you think?

@Linkolan Kaczynskinite. Have you seen the condition of his living quarters? You don't think contributions could improve his life? If you don't want to help, that's fine. I'm sure there are many others would be happy to lend a hand.

๐๐๐ you could start a channel 'World's Worst Travel Destinations'

Your vlogs are immensely entertaining. Your sunny disposition, great humility, & genuine respect for the people & culture come across as authentic. Sprinkled with a touch of good natured humour. Wonderful & refreshing approach. Don't change a thing!

You should've asked a cab driver to take you to a hotel.

I've had that same routine in Goa. It was so inexpensive, so I would go for a session twice a week. The neck cracking worried me though. If they screw up, the damage to the cervical column could be nasty. So I stopped them doing that bit.

"... It was around this time, at a meeting in Paris, that Dulles supposedly made his astonishing offer to the French of tactical nuclear weapons. In fact, Dulles was never authorised to make such an offer and there is no hard evidence that he did so. It seems possible that in the febrile atmosphere of those days the panic-stricken French may simply have misunderstood him. Or his words may have got lost in translation. "He didn't really offer. He made a suggestion and asked a question. He uttered the two fatal words 'nuclear bomb'," Maurice Schumann, a former foreign minister, said before his death in 1998. "Bidault immediately reacted as if he didn't take this offer seriously." From Dien Bien Phu: Did the US offer France an A-bomb? -- BBC 5 May, 2014

For the guy that shorted you 50 rupees by giving you 5,500 instead of 5,550, I'd counter by saying, if it's no big deal, then round it up to 5,600. Bet you he would not.

ย @RonDianiย the "otherwise" is a recent phenomenon -- after the fall of the USSR & after the US resumed diplomatic & economic ties.

From all the comments on here, it's clear that you misunderstood the timing of departure as being the ticket price. He charged you the correct price. Yet you have not corrected the misleading title of your segment. Who's scamming who now? Not cool, man.

Guys, while that may seem funny, this is India. These fckers have no sense of humor. You could easily have been thrown in jail or worse. Technically you did nothing wrong. But again, you are foreigners & they can do as they damn well please. They could hold you on suspicion of terrorism & really fckup your life. Keep that in mind for future pranks

I thought an India veteran like yourself would've known that Indians use 'restaurant' & 'hotel' interchangeably.

Helping out that Babushka shows you to be a softie at heart. Good on you man!

The rice & naan, more than the rich curries, are what contribute to weight gain. Beer too. It's the carbs combined with the high calories. Restaurants also use a lot of sugar in most dishes.

His takes on historic events, particularly those of the communist era, are often face-palm worthy.

@Woof Olliesmydog. You do whatever you want with your donation. I'm donating for the items I outlined. I'm not sending him money.

The litter is out of control. I've come across broken glass & bottles on Baga beach in Goa. And there are no trash receptacles anywhere in sight.

Flip it around: if some dark skinned foreigner with a Go-pro went traipsing through a village or farming community in England, what would be the reaction?
