Not as advanced as people like to make out, other civilisations where waaaay far ahead these people where still killing people to make the sun come up, the Greeks ,romans had figured out large parts of life science astrology and math and literature way before Aztecs existed, aztecs didn’t even have boats or clothes really, conquistadors had armour weapons gunpowder and all the science of past civilisations, these people noted and called them barbarians because….this is what they where? They are super interesting and strange but they wasn’t exactly advanced not to say they where dumb but still many civilisations had conquered the world and established so much even before the rise of aztecs who lived amongst the trees scalping people and ripping hearts out for the sun
