  2. Hey! I watched the trilogy extended cut and then I listened to a fantastic set of audiobooks of the trilogy (excellent - just perfect). So, now I'm pretty much burned out on LoTR. I have ZERO interest in Lord of the RINGS, RINGS of power (fun fact, no rings in season 1). I hated how Hollyweird destroyed StarWars, StarTrek, Wheel of Time, Foundation, Shannara, etc.... I just hate their narrative and I hate the society they're morphing the USA into. I can't stand NPCs. I'm pretty much done with these woke jerks and would prefer to bifurcate the USA and let them all have NYC and CA. I don't want to come in contract with these losers, posers, and whinny grifting liars. If someone conservative created a modern Mennonite type community id happily convert from Atheism to whatever religion and move there.

  20. Actually, you're wrong, they are weak, there is no 'critical mass' and being a private company is a legal agreement and requires a license opening them up to numerous attacks in courts. This license legally binds them to certain behaviors. PayPal also has other agreements due to having financial agreements, as well as working in numerous countries as well as being an internet company (regulated by Congress in the USA). Papal may be committing tortious interference. They need to be sued in courts all over the world. They're not all that profitable - they'd probably settle quickly or go bankrupt. Which IMO should be illegal. As for Russia. Most Russians I have heard say Ukraine was always a part of Russia and only recently began to appear on maps. A historian who did his PhD on Ukraine said the founder population were, of all things, a Viking tribe. And over time it slowly changed so that the West became Ukrainians and East Russians. That does suggest they are the same people historically. According to that person anyway. Which makes the map thing make sense.
