Barry Wong If the government must always listen to its citizens every time they make a fuss, then what's the point of a government?

Barry Wong China didn't take HK "by force". The British struck a deal with China and it would be handed back to the latter in 100 years. China waited. HK is the one in the wrong. As a parent, would you be sad/angry if your child wanted to cut all ties from you to solve his/her problems?

Because Hong Kong is a part of China. A city can't just declare independence and expect the government to conply. Completely ridiculous.
