  4. Icecactus I can see you are unaware of the numerous Chinese private (non-government run) social media platforms there are. Why do the Chinese need access to YouTube when they already have Youku? Why do the Chinese need access to Google when they have Baidu? That’s like asking your average American citizen to switch to Baidu instead of Google to access more information about the Chinese. Besides, if they really wanted to access their foreign counterparts, they’re free to use VPNs to access them. The government knows about this and doesn’t care. “There are more chances for you to gather people for your cause.” I don’t quite understand, are rebellions an annual thing in your country? I can tell you one thing, Chinese people don’t have the luxury of free time. They’re too busy working to rebel against their already functional government every couple of days. Sorry to inform you.
