@Guest-lr3eu The thing is, all of this wasn't even about "rights" in the first place. The protestors just decided to change the narrative of the protest from "extradition bill" to "human rights/police brutality/independence".

@SoldJesus4Crack "CCP" is not interchangable with "China". China is a country, CCP is a political party. It is true that HK is not under CCP rule, but nevertheless, Hong Kong is still a part of the country known as China. And therefore, a Chinese city.

@98TrueRocker98 Wrong. You're in denial. Hong Kong is under Chinese sovereignty, however is not guided by the NPC. That is, a Special Adminstrative Region through One Country, Two Systems. Many protestors already know that HK is a part of China, as much as they hate this fact, they accept it. It is truly sad that you and a minority of HK kids are unable to grasp a concept as simple as this.

As a Hong Konger, I can say for a fact that we do not care. Long forgotten now.

@SoldJesus4Crack You think a dysfunctional dynasty, a divided China governed by warlords, and a military dictatorship not much better than Mao's is "beautiful" and "traditional"?

I trust that it will be a beautiful sight to behold.

@SoldJesus4Crack What do you mean by "dead", though? There are still tons of historical monuments and artefacts still actively preserved under CCP rule (e.g. terracotta army, temples, monasteries, etc.). Traditional Chinese culture is far from "dead". Heck, it might even be starting to make a comeback. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cip9DA1UvHk
