  7. They have been protesting for 6 months and have done nothing to help solve this problem except destroying private/public property and beating up the elderly and all who disagree with them.

  8. Joe Fresh That is no excuse for violence. Violence only breeds more violence, hence the “police brutality” you guys complain about so much. I expected more peaceful protesting. If that doesn’t work, keep protesting peacefully until you or the government breaks. Revolutions rarely end well or without war. Gandhi did it, so why can’t you?

  9. Joe Fresh The government isn’t obligated to follow your orders. Especially not when you are tearing apart infrastructure and terrorising businesses and civilians alike. What’s more, the demands don’t even make sense...the extradition bill is gone...the thing that started it all! And you’re still unsatisfied? First it was 1 demand, now it’s 5, then it’ll be 10 and so on. Come on, I understand 2 of the demands (investigation of police “brutality” & resignation of Carrie Lam), but really the release of all rioters and the retraction of the riot characterisation? Ridiculous!
