  7. As journalists, they should know what risks they have to take. You can’t just waltz onto a battlefield and expect not to get hit.

In addition, your house or business gets burnt to a crisp and/or vandalized. The police are doing their jobs, the rioters are causing chaos. If they don’t disperse, then of course the police are gonna keep chucking tear gas canisters. Logic. Or would you rather face live ammunition like foreign countries use? Your pick.
