You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about.

Joseph Templar When did I say I’d rather settle things with violence? Did you know what the protestors did? They ruined businesses, they caused public disruption, they set fire to vehicles, they were willing to break into the CCP headquarters and overthrow the government. It was chaos. Some protestors even burnt soldiers alive. But of course, nobody mentions that. This is NOT the way you protest for democracy. So yes, the military was doing their job, protecting their people and their country.

Joseph Templar Ever heard of martial law? Virtually the whole of China knew about this, but protestors still took to the streets anyways, they WERE warned. There is no rule that states that you must send in policemen first before sending in the military. It all depends on the situation. And Tiananmen wasn’t your typical “old people walking around holding banners” protest. Contrary to western media, the military didn’t just go around randomly running over protestors with guns blazing, they first fired warning shots into the air, but the protestors didn’t disperse, so the military took action, what’s the point of a warning if there won’t be any consequences? They were warned, at least the military was somewhat justified for their actions.
