Sure, go ahead. All Hong Kongers, feel free to leave Hong Kong and flood neighbouring countries like the refugees you were meant to be! Free Hong Kong from the rioters! 🤣👌

Oh really? Got any proof? Even so, the mall calling the authorities was the right thing to do, what would you do if hundreds of angry protestors starting storming into your shopping mall? Would you just stand idly by and watch the chaos? You can not justify the protestors in any way.

Just because we don’t agree with your opinion means we’re all 50 cent army? Get off the internet.

Matthew fromosia I think he was referring to the protestors.

The police blocked the exits merely to isolate the protestors, to prevent more rioters from joining the fight and to prevent those who have committed real crimes from escaping. No malicious intent. Its not as if the protestors haven’t blocked up entrances before....(legislative department buildings). You think the police blocked the railway station? It’s the PROTESTORS that are clogging up the MTR, not the police. They’re even “proud” that they have occupied key MTR stations by announcing it during their protests and cheering.

Matthew fromosia She literally said the bill is DEAD. Did she say the Bill has been passed? No, she did not. So why are you still angry? Are you not able to comprehend the term “dead”? What else could it possibly mean? Withdraw...dead...they’re both technically synonymous.

Matthew fromosia Yes but. What else could she mean by “The bill is dead.” Perhaps the bill is actually alive, or perhaps she was referring to her uncle Bill? It doesn’t matter what she says honestly, whether she says it’s dead or withdrawn or whatever, she could still easily implement exactly the same bill under a different name, just as you said, with the snap of her fingers. So does it really matter. Besides, I doubt the protests, riots and all of this nonsense would stop if Lam complied with the protestors demands of withdrawing the bill officially. So again, does it really matter?

Lar M Yes because the phrase “The bill is dead” clearly foreshadows the invasion of Hong Kong by the PLA 🙄 I actually wouldn’t mind, shoot all these cowardly criminals dead. We’ll see if Hong Kongers are still willing to “peacefully protest” when the PLA rolls in.

What’s the point of a government if random people on the streets are able to control it?

Jedi solo Vague answer. Which government are you referring to?
