Anthony Roic So it’s okay for civilians to use firearms but it’s not okay for the government to use firearms?

Anthony Roic The government is in charge. Even they should know this by now.

Chen W Better than if the rioters were in control.

“Reaching for the gun” Key phrase: Warning shot I advise you to not twist the facts in your favour of your own interests.

KinderTubeHD They already have. Have you seen what they did to some guy’s van? Which happened to be his only supply of income? Have you seen what they have done to the property of government officials (not talking about the government buildings, I’m talking about the official’s private property)? They trashed them. And a few went as far to vandalise one of the official’s parent’s graves. More importantly, have you seen what they have done to anybody (Besides foreigners of course. Two protestors who argued with Aussie businessman at the airport treated him like royalty) disagrees with them? I’m sure you’ve heard of a Chinese journalist who got tied and beaten up by protestors at the airport.

RavenclawSpb How much were you paid to write this comment, CIA bot?

김정수 And they have every right to do so. Hong Kong is a part of China, whether you like it or not. Who are you to decide how China governs it’s own city?
1
Colony? What are you even talking about? Hong Kong was always a part of China up until the British colonised.

Al Yeung Were you born with half a brain? What were you smoking last night?

Al Yeung “But it’s not your country! So you don’t have any say!”. Tell that to America who loves to poke its nose into other people’s businesses in that case.

So you’re saying it’s the police’s fault that the protestors outnumber their troops?
1
gallaxian To be honest, in my opinion, almost all the incidents involving the rioters warrant the use of firearms. The police just choose not to use them in fear of international response. And besides, it was a warning shot. Trust me, if the government really wanted to shoot somebody, hundreds or even thousands would be dead by now.

Tian Kun 1:53 I’m pretty sure that’s tear gas and rubber bullets right there. Unless you’re referring to the part where the warning shot happened. But still, the police are well within their rights to issue a warning shot.

MrE03 Can’t tell whether you’re being serious or just joking. So hard to tell these days.
