Wrong. So many things wrong with this comment... Dr. Li wasn't trying to "warn everyone". He picked it up from Wuhan health authority notices to hospitals and told his colleagues about it, and ONLY his colleagues until they started spreading it on social media. The Chinese government was already aware of a new virus on December 26th from Dr. Zhang Jixian. Four days before Li "discovered" a SARS like virus on the 30th of December (he was an optometrist, you do the math). A notice was sent to Wuhan hospitals which was the exact same notice Dr. Li found. As for "China's" attempts at silencing him. Wrong again. The people who shut him up were local Wuhan authorities, not the central government, they were trying to save face, these people were later fired. And as mentioned before, Dr. Zhang's reports were already investigated and passed onto WHO earlier. All of this can basically be found on Wikipedia. Check out Dr. Li's Wikipedia page before jumping to conclusions. Regardless, rest easy Dr. Li and everyone else who has died from Covid-19.
