Davide Piacenza Apparently “human rights” approves of people vandalising the equivalent of the White House in Hong Kong. How nice.

Davide Piacenza Apologies, I thought you were one of those people who support the use of violence in protests. Pure democracy is not for Hong Kong, and it was never meant to be. Why can’t the people of Hong Kong just accept that as a fact? The cries of 2 million people can’t decide the fate of Hong Kong, or else the government would have to listen to whatever the Hong Kong people say from then on. That’s like listening to whatever your child asks for, whether it be a lollipop or a new video game, spoiling him/her. And yes, Hong Kong would die if it were to be independent, it’s similar to cutting your life support...maybe one day Hong Kong, or even China will be able to obtain a balanced mix between democracy and socialism, but now is not the time.

Adromedox Since when was China “pointing fingers”? It’s merely asking the UK NOT TO INTERVENE. It’s none of Britain’s business. However, I doubt Britain can actually do anything but fire empty threats...

Adromedox That’s China for you. But the way I see it, the right to vote isn’t exactly a...priority...on the list of *human rights*....at least in China. But hey, if it works in 28 other cities, it should work for Hong Kong. Edit: Actually, the CCP allows the equivalent of the “cabinet” to vote, it’s just extremely rigged.
