The completed airport will generate funds to pay off the debt. If it was a pointless statue or military hardware then I'd understand it as "debt trap diplomacy". But it's not. Or maybe perhaps you think you're smarter than the collective minds of the Pakistan governmrnt in that they don't know how to handle their loans/debt? You see BRI as a charity when it's actually an investment.
