  1. Agreed, China's only viable option is to wait it out and hope Taiwan reunites with China by slowly cutting off Taiwan's economic ties with other countries to isolate it, and only then Taiwan will have no choice but to reunify. I don't think this will happen in the next 50 years or so though.
