Funny how you determine building quality in the whole of China based on literally five abandoned districts, if you'd like to see some REAL low quality building, just take a look at the skyscrapers in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen! Jokes aside, you must realize that they're called "ghost cities" for a reason, little to no maintenance whatsoever, so you should expect at least a couple of buildings to be in bad shape.
The problem is, China is developing too fast.
Besides, it's not that simple to fill up ghost cities, you got to clean up the mess, provide electricity, water and property management, they're not connected to other populated cities, a lack of infrastructure. Not even a homeless person would want to live there. Some of China's ghost cities will definitely get populated someday, but it's unlikely that all of them will.

Drowning Narcissist How am I being non-sequitur? How am I staying off topic? I am merely conversing about what you stated in the first place, please elaborate before throwing random accusations at me without explanation.
POPULATION INCREASE IS NOT A PROBLEM IN CHINA, PERIOD. It's the population concentration in the big cities is the problem. There is plenty of land in China, it's just that only the big cities are crammed full of people, what's more, the population is said to peak at 1.44 billion before declining in 2029.
Did you know that by 2050, over 330 million Chinese will be considered as elderly? That's more than the whole God damn population of America right now. Elderly can't work, elderly require constant care, and what's your solution? Start purging the elderly population every year?
You misunderstood me, human worth is the same in almost every country, the government doesn't give a flying fuck whether your grandmother dies right now, do you expect them to? I'm saying HUMAN RIGHTS is different in China, and we don't have a problem with that, go visit China and ask some random guy off the street whether your precious democracy cough fake cough matters to him? Our system works, so why does it bother you so much?
And also, no need to get so defensive over expendable lives, it's always been this way, really don't understand why you care so much when there are already millions dying in Africa, Syria etc. Go help them instead.
