  1. China isn't a charity. China is giving Italy an opportunity to stand back up, China provides the money, Italy has to grow. It's Italy's chance to work hard and achieve greatness. There are risks, but the benefits outweigh them by a landslide. In short, it's up to Italy on whether it wants to improve.

  2. You take the world for fools. Do you think countries would join the B&R initiative without knowing the consequences? China isn't forcing the world to join the B&R initiative either, you're either in or you're out. "Mostly BRIN is good for the big Chinese state-owned enterprises and a handful of corrupt local politicians.", yeah so building infrastructure in other countries somehow only benefits China. That makes sense. "Then gradually Chinese flood the locals.", the Chinese aren't like the western colonizers, most don't plan to permanently stay, they come to the country to work. "They start to impose their socialism with a Chinese characteristics to the locals.", Okay I'm sorry but I really am trying not to laugh. Do you REALLY think China would do this? Do you actually think that the B&R countries would just turn into a Chinese colony just like that? To be honest, that sounds more western than Chinese cough Democracy *cough*. Absolutely ridiculous... All in all, I just think you're jealous to see China gaining influence.
