Is anyone protesting the starvation in Yemen, the mass deportations of Afghan refugees, the horrendous and continuous deaths in Ukraine, the boat people drowning off Europe, the deprivation in Sri Lanka, the appauling conditions in South Africa? The current US bombings in Syria? Our teens and children are now dying from avoidable car crashes, do you care? What about all the homeless families needing support? Bring on the next big thing please, and hope it will show a real knowledge and empathy of how the real world works and what is really going on in it! What don't we protest control, starvation and depravation? We must support Australians first and the helpless second - neither of these countries are helpless nor need our support! No Australian should be one-sided, weak minded nor pathetically ignorant! 😠
