I still have questions! How could he afford ice, how could he afford to travel and live in Bondi? I have heard ice can cost $1k per day! Mental illnesses have usually means cheap medications, trained professional help and family support! I know of no other scitzophrenic who attacked 'strangers'! 🧐

People from loving, supportive homes do not commit hate crimes!

@dianneedwards892 The best treatment is loving care and attention, and genuine empathy!

@comealongcomealong4480 So he was mentally capable of running a Centrelink account, he was aware of his condition and medication needs, he drove a registered car, booked a storage unit himself, ran internet sites, had located new dealers in Sydney, and also cooly preplanned his Westfield mission! Hmmm! 😠

@wendymagee2601 Get off your nasty high horse! Scitzophrenia is a birth condition! I am a counsellor and know how much an environment of loving care affects people - hate and fear are learned as is anxiety! Children should feel valued!

In America parents are now being charged for allowing their children access to weapons and not making others aware they are dangerous!

GenderAccelerationist Someone's child is their responsibility to teach the rules of society and to lovingly care for, until they pass away!

@dalesmith4985 I agree, but giving up should not ok!

@pauljosephcleary Yes! Deciding to take ice, deciding to harm the innocent, deciding to make action plans days ahead? Stopping long enough to have lunch! Mental? 😏

@petesmitt It was more likely he was on ice, than driven by illness!

@petesmitt True, but he was very calculated, and using expensive drugs! My niece works with intellectually handicapped children, they are the most affectionate and generous of people! Other people have had tragic accidents, or crippling illnesses! I lived near a scitzophrenic, she self medicated with alcohol and drugs during her rages, she also sent her children to her parents occasionally to protect them, although she hated her mother and missed her children, she only harmed herself!

@petesmitt I am fully aware of that, but it is very rare that they can meticulously plan and execute such a complicated event over several days, and quietly stop to have lunch during his planning! Yes many intellectuals suffer with OCD, or some form of autism, they are rarely also violent criminals! I'm really tired of these 'mental' excuses, very few children are 'born' evil or deficient!
