Australians didn't sign the deal, only one person did, and he was so far out of his depth in the Whitehouse! π€

Exactly, an inexperienced little man with stars in his eyes signed the deal without any prior consideration! π€πΈ

As an Australian, I sincerely hope that deal is cancelled and our deposit returned in full! We were required to purchase these submarines to protect US interests in the Pacific, we do not need nor want such powerful machines - no guarantees either, no thanks! ππ¦πΊπ

No worries mate, we only really need Spears and Crocodiles! ππ

Losing our young men for the US in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc while winning the only battles and cleaning up? We are proud of our contribution that's not grovelling, but where is the gratitude? We are peacekeepers, not warmongers! Have the US ever fought their wars alone? Ever won? π

There is no doubt this current conflict is between the US and Russia for power! I agree, Australia, the very useful Pacific pawns, have totally had enough! π¦πΊ

Australia (under this government) has made huge promises we cannot afford and we have lost industry and land to activists! The tariffs mean we will lose many more jobs and tax income from manufacturing, our current debt will never end! He hasn't finished his tariff count yet! This is a very serious! π€¨

Jacqui Lambie is absolutely correct, and she knows the military! They just walk in here and use our facilities while disrespecting our rights and culture! Bugger off yanks, this is Australia, an independent, sovereign country! π

Saddening that most countries are intensely funding the military instead of new energy options! What do you do with these soldiers and new weapons if your country is never needed to enter any conflict!? π Australia hasn't had conscription since 1971, but a lot of upper echelon high schools still have Cadets who become Reserves, and volunteers still seek a military career because of the pay and exceptional training! Also, the high standards of discipline, team skills and character building are a sure step up a business career ladder! But, wholly focussing on war preparations, and the overriding anxiety of the population on war should never be an imperative for countries like Germany, who have already suffered so much! π Russia just loves war, we need to change them, not us!! π€¨
