  1. Victoria wanted the play without the pay, she was advised, she asked repeatedly, that contraception would be unacceptable for her to use! She was the only legitimate heir, and cosseted, spoiled and restricted by her elders - rather ignorant as to normal sharing family relationships! She rarely took care of her husband or their incidental children! That she eventually populated most of Europe and Russia (and spread genetic diseases) was surely mostly political decisions! Really the best thing the Victorians did was to change their name to Windsor! Poor Albert! 🫂
