Melbourne weather - wait who's got the umbrella, did you put the sunscreen on, could you get my coat and scarf! I love Magpies, my mum used to feed them too, I never considered they would miss her! 😪 That's just Vegemite OCD! Canberra makes sense, maybe 20 years ago! Smaller fresh food market in WA, the weather is too hot and dry for many of our usual fruits, but definitely there is lots of different meats, Asian speciality foods and tropical fruits! 👍 IAN, I am waiting to see your reaction to "Australia II wins the America's Cup"! This is another AU anniversary, 40 years ago the Americas Cup (Yachting) competition came to Fremantle, WA and Australia won 4-3, it was the first time America had lost their cup to another country! It created a world wide hit for Down Under by Men at work, put WA on the map, and meant a National Holiday for Aussies who had watched it all night! Also famous for our Prine Minister having a few beers and swearing on tv! 😂🇦🇺

I have recently seen a dangerous truck accident on the news, around SA, glad I'm not driving there! 😰 They have recent ads here to teach ordinary people about having more awareness around big trucks, demonstrated by "what can you see in the truck mirror, sitting in their seats?"! Essential! 😵 Where I live, the big loads come through at night, not around the daytime traffic, usually! 🧐👍

Yes, there will be many versions of each country's uniform, depending on the sport! Too much white and beige, what if you only have a small screen?   10. I loved seeing the old newspaper, wow, definitely museum item! Surely there would be at least fingerprints somewhere, unless it was bought to preserve? I once found a 1933 newpaper, the only damage was the staples had rusted, unfortunately I then cut it up for a decopage project - wish I hadn't! We must keep these precious things intact! 🙁 Sydney and Adelaide are not actually in the Outback, but the map's odd? 🤔 So much fun, thanks for sharing! Happy New Year to You! 🌠🎉

Most Australian roads are in great condition, we really value life, so safety always comes first! 👍 Similar to America, but more sunshine, and nobody needs to hate or injure you! NSW rules, we have kept our cultural heritage and love our small towns! Tasmanian and South Australian cities and towns are all logical and beautiful too - the others have gone modern hirise, and just "make it up as you go along"! 🤨 Queensland, just make sure you have great aircon! 😁

  22. Town Hall Station floods were big that day and it's all underground, the rain was a really heavy short burst! Those Wombat hunters need to give up driving, or relocate!   27. In Eastern Australia, it can be very humid so mould can be a big problem, I leave my windows open every day - in the nightime if it's hot! I have a Dutch brother in law, I appreciate his straightforwardness, but sometimes his impatience can be wearing! Rules are really rules in Germany! Cleaning your shower every time, yes with different water, or just to save energy! Cake is a party food, not everyday food! Black bread and cheese, bakery fresh bread with butter and Vegemite! 😋👍

  30. I watch a lot of international real estate shows, like renovations, and international rent or buy programs! I am no longer surprised by American travellers demands! An American size fridge, in a 400 year old Spanish or English house - open plan huge kitchen, separate laundry, ensuite bathrooms, large closets, no steep stairs, garages, large gardens, views, walk to shops and bars! Really fun and frequently ridiculous, it's "old" Europe! 🤨 We have a real bakery in every suburb, or several! You cannot fit an American truck in original old Sydney streets either! Gridiron is a bit ridiculous, and not football! Specialist European products are always worth the money! American is not exotic or special in Australia! Interesting video! 😄

  32. Supply and demand is the biggest housing issue in Australia, secondly the ridiculous tourist influx - and no control on overseas investors! And land taxes are cheaper here, we also no HOA fees! 👍

  35. We had that phone, I think the extra buttons were for stored numbers! They were so flimsy they always fell down and the cords tangled up - memories! I think the mini hotdogs were called saveloys, not common food now! Mum used to buy the glucose jelly beans from the chemist! We had those hot metal slides at the local park! The amber glass door has a sliding track! Sunbeam electric frypan, family roasts! I loved the mix of favourite lollies bag! 😋

Arnott's were a family company, I did a babysitting job at a workmates house and there was an Arnott's family tree in the baby's room - with the famous Macaw Parrot in the centre top! 😂 William Arnott was the founder in 1865, a Scottish immigrant to Australia! Arnott's biscuits have always been popular here! Scotch Fingers! 😋👍 I'm not sure about working there, I spent a few hours at the Cadbury's factory in Hobart, and ended up feeling pretty sick from the chocolate smell! 🙁 Good company policy, reliability! 🤗

Newcastle Riots, Barnsey and Cold Chisel, "at the Star Hotel" song! (Newcastle is still radical!) Undiscovered Gold Reserves, these finds are still possible! Homesick Remedies? "Yankees", maybe from The Battle of Brisbane 1942? Very Interesting! 👍 That's very Australian, big fella means you are affectionately "a special big mate"! 😃

  38. We are having extreme heat, completely dry air and no wind at all, agh! Engineered stone, the main issue is the serious lung problems coming up from the tradesmen having to work with and sand it down, and particularly the young apprentices! Love the thoughtful Tradie, food and work boots don't mix! 👍 Stuffing yourself with pizza is not actually a healthy meal, but frozen is more reliable in an emergency! Oh the resting roo! US carparking, seriously! Those "Bloody Cockatoos" break up my potplants if I dont feed them! Driving in Australia, maybe sit on the "right" side passenger seat the first time to acclimatise! Fun! 😃
