  5.  @Mike...01  The infrastructure never keeps up either, there were 8,000 (one culture only) units built near me at one time, but no new shops or services! Sydney is actually too big, people need to look elsewhere for houses, as the free land is too hot and unsuitable - there are however city buildings that could be converted into units!

Love the RAAF symbol, the flag says it all, it's very appropriate! White might be the Navy?? Torres Strait Island, deserves to be different! There is perhaps too much Union Jack in our flags now!?   18. You also have to factor in weather events, they are currently having power issues even though they have Solar Panels and Battery Power, they still have occasional issues! Very pretty places, look to be based on the Rhine areas and Spain, the scenery is great and the orderly rows are soothing! 👍

Golf Crabs, probably Tasmania, at least Kangaroos don't break Golf clubs! Cable me! Poor cat! No Hershey's here! 13lbs, that's a five month old! Hibiscus, same in Australia! A Great Dane, too expensive! Blue Whale is the largest animal in the world, swims south by Tasmania and jumps like a dolphin! Definitely units! 😄👍

Yes, Tasmania, precious and unique! 💓 Come and visit, but please leave after you clean up after yourself! 😃 We love our environment, and expect everyone to always take care of it too thanks! ☺️👍 Tasmania has had Hydro Electricity since 1916, and no pesticides or aerosols since 1970! It has more listed buildings and protected forests than other states, many specialist scientific research centres, and an Antarctic museum and research facility too! I'm not surprised with this really, but hadn't heard if it! 😂

  29. I first heard of Copenhagen by watching an old musical movie about the writer Hans Christian Andersen, as a child! Copenhagen is fascinating, and the sculpture is a huge tourist draw! 🤗

In Australia we have Royal Shows where the farm animals, farm equipment, all the activities and knowledge comes to the city! Even our schools and local fairs have visiting farm animals! 🤔

  36. It was 'discovered' by the Dutch, Abel Janszoon Tasman, and named for his famous boss Van Dieman, it was later changed to Tasmania instead! It still retains its Dutch connection while most of Australia has English names! It's also the second oldest British colony here!

  46. Yes I was told the site was only used for train storage before the beautification was proposed! I have old photos of Circular Quay filled with carts, vendors and draughthorses, but the ferries were there too! A massive undertaking!

  47. A Scottish friend of mine totalled his beloved car in Melbourne, I can see how now! He was used to driving from Glasgow to Edinburgh to London on long open highways, this is not designed for relaxed countryside drives! 😂 Happy New Year Ian and family! ❤️👪🎉

  48. I remember the Ute story it was during the time of war rations, (it could have been the depression) a family was only allowed ONE vehicle to limit petrol use! That farm wife wanted a car comfortable for outings and useful for farm work, she designed it to be an all in one! Normal car at the front, tray at the back! 👍 Australian Ford said yes, Henry Ford said why? 🧐
