  1. Be prepared and aware, wherever you are traveling! In Sydney, there are around 5,000 rescues per week in summer, just on Bondi Beach - unable to swim, dehydration, alcohol, dares, ignorance! Hundreds more tourists have to be rescued by experienced volunteer hiking teams and expensive helicopters from the Blue Mountains, because they had not prepared for the environmental conditions - fitness, clothes, shoes, water, snacks! 😏

  2.  @jadecawdellsmith4009  I was making a point about responsibility! As quoted by Bondi Lifeguards, there is an average of over 30,000 near deaths per year at our beaches, and there are at least 1.2 million more temporary visitors here now due to easy access of visas!
