The artesian basin is farmed by Sugar Cane growers in Queensland, in other words it is well USED - because they cannot use salt water to grow fruit!! 🤨 Darwin was not wide open, my uncle was in the Airforce there, their base was bombed and rebuilt many times - no Japanese forces invaded Australia! Tasmania already had successful Hydro Power in 1919 - unoriginal! (Tasmania has offered to power Victoria, but they won't pay towards it!) SA has Elon Musk battery power! Unsurprisingly, evaporation issues in the outback, the Roaring Forties, Hurricanes, heavy rains! Every project in Australia has high costs due to transport, isolation and lack of infrastructure! Logistics!!! 👎 Nature rules, three floods in Qld, now all food growth areas are flooded and animal wastes, chemicals, garbage, etc is killing fishing industries and food growth - even down to Victoria now - and money is extremely hard to find! 😵😥
