  3. Yes I was told the site was only used for train storage before the beautification was proposed! I have old photos of Circular Quay filled with carts, vendors and draughthorses, but the ferries were there too! A massive undertaking!

  7. That was so much fun, and definitely more conservative times, the ABC were a really conservative organisation! There was no rodeos held in Sydney, so that poor guy who couldn't understand street directions was probably experiencing country bogan! Very well spoken Americans there! The convict built structures in Sydney and Hobart are very beautiful and enduring! Mrs Macquaries seat is now called Mrs Macquarie's Chair, the best harbour views, specifically created by her husband, the famous Governor Macquarie! The honeymooners were so cute! Sydney is special! Hi little Sydney! 👍😍❤️
